RESPONSIBLE TOURISM: A HOLIDAY WITH PURPOSE

Responsible tourism is a new concept in travel for individuals and families of social conscience that wish to truly experience the reality, culture and people of a foreign land while maximizing the local benefits of their visit and eliminating the negative impacts of traditional tourism such as exploitation, cultural homogenization, and the reduction of biodiversity. Responsible tourism looks at a trip as an opportunity to more honestly experience the society, people, history and daily life of a destination while contributing to its long term well-being and the exchange of ideas and understanding between cultures.

This concept is accomplished through carefully organized visits and activities that allow the traveler to meet real locals in their natural environment and to see life as it truly is, not as a traditional short holiday would make it appear. Additionally, a portion of travel fees are invested in the communities that we visit to help them solve the difficult issues they face and to ensure that they can preserve their unique heritages.

We are currently organizing group trips (8 to 12 people) of 15-21 days visiting Buenos Aires, Cordoba and its mountains, Misiones and the Iguazu waterfalls, Paraguay and Brazil. Our service includes transfers, lodging with full or half board, dedicated guide/coordinator, all excursions and travel insurance. We can also arrange international airfare to Argentina if desired.

This experience is organized and managed solely by locals. Thus, the value you receive is much greater than booking a trip through an agency at home. At the same time this allows for a more intimate look at the country, its people, and its culture while providing direct benefits to our host communities.

These trips deliver realities rather than ornaments and help protect the people and environment you will encounter.
